| Math is involved in volleyball in many ways, there are three that I will explain in further detail throughout this post. 1 probability, 2 angles, and 3 hitting percentages. The math used in volleyball all ties together, being able to use angels to get their hitting percentage up will make the probability that their team will win to go up as well. I chose to do volleyball for my project because not only do I love the sport, but I'm intrigued to see what kind of math is used to make the sport more interesting. |

| This is another way angles are used in volleyball. Your legs are angled so you have good balance when passing the ball, your platform (your arms) are at an angle so that the ball goes to your target and not straight up in the air or to the floor. |
